The plant pictured above is Rotala sp. ‘Nanjenshan’, which is the name also used to refer to Mayaca sellowiana by some. Mayaca sellowiana is actually a separate species and can be identified by a finer leaf structure, more golden coloration, and whiter shoot tips under ideal conditions.
