This unusual little plant has numerous dark green leaves roughly 0,5 cm in length, and spreads over rocks and wood in the aquarium. It does not produce normal roots, but attaches itself to any permanent object. Willow moss prefers moving water and does appreciate hard water conditions. Ideally, keep it at a lower temperature; it is suitable for an unheated aquarium. Over time, the plant has a tendency to die off, even in the best conditions. In this instance, replace it or separate the newer shoots from the main plant.
