1 The Murchison meteorite was recovered in Australia in 1969. Analysis of the meteorite found over 90 types of amino acids as well as some left-handed sugar that does not exist naturally on Earth. This rare form of substance tends to prove the extraterrestrial origin of the rest of the contents. The Murchison meteorite contains the same amino acids obtained by Stanley Miller in his laboratory, and even in the same relative proportions
